First and Worst Love

The DJ Rankin song known as First and Worst Love is made up of many elements. It starts off with with the popular acapella line “I’ve got the power” from the 1990 song The Power by Snap. Next is Michel by Anouk, which contains the lyrics “You are my first and worst love” from which Rankin’s version takes its title. Mixed on top of Michel are acapellas from Superman and Stan, both by Eminem. Next is the opening vocal from Gigi D’Agostino’s Bla Bla Bla, used often by Rankin, followed by a piece of the Rhythm Is A Dancer acapella, originally by Snap. And that’s just the first half of the song.
